Hey guys,

Im running 10.6.8 snow leopard on a 2009 Mac Pro with a sonnet 4eb Esata pic card and am getting a lot of kernel panics anytime I eject an ssd mag or load one up. Occasionally it'll be fine but I can't gt more than 2 offloads before I get a panic.

Ive reinstalled the drivers but no luck.

Sometimes I'll even get a random panic when I'm just scrubbing through footage on a g RAID connected via Esata.

Would like to know if anyone has a solution or a better card recommendation.

Thank you!

Im using the caldigit fasta 6gu3 dual channel usb 3 and dual channel 6g esat pci express2 and having no issues.

Its great as its got 2 eSATA and 2 USB3 so when RED release the red station with USB 3, I cZn use all the ports.

Hope this helps
