OK,

I've ordered my new Mac Pro system. It will be a while until it gets here as I went with the 8800GT video option.

Anyway, I'll be setting up bootcamp partitions for WinXP, Vista64 and OSX Leopard. Does anyone know if OSX 10.4 / Tiger will run on these latest systems, as in including all proper drivers, etc? Either way, I'll try it when the system arrives if no one has an answer. IMO, 10.5 still isn't ready for prime time just yet, but that's what ships on the new systems.

I'd guess the GeForce will require 10.5 - people noticed the drivers for the 8800 a while back and some were able to get hacked 8800 cards to work on 10.5 before the January announcement - but never in 10.4 as the drivers simply weren't there...

Radeons should work though as they are the same generation as the iMac, right?

Yeah, I'm mostly concerned about the drivers for the 8800GT and the new 5400 series chipset. I'm not expecting it to work, I was just wondering if anyone has tried it or will try it before I get ahold of my new system. Then again, a little birdie has told me 10.5.2 should be released in about 2 weeks.
