***ALL ITEMS HAVE BEEN SOLD****

I have a few items I am contemplating selling. I have had some difficulty trying to decide how to price stuff so I am thinking of putting everything on Ebay, that may be the easiest way of achieving a proper market value, but I thought I would offer it here before opening it out to the masses. If you are dead keen on having something then please make me an offer that makes my head spin, or if you prefer you can wait for the cut and thrust of the auctions. To give you an idea of ballpark I am expecting from Ebay I have put a price next to the items here, this would be the level of the reserve price, feel free to offer me lots more.

Cooke Varopanchro, 20-60mm, T3.1. This has a Cooke universal intermediate fitting with a brand spanking new Arri PL mount from Les Bosher. I haven't put this lens on a camera yet but mechanically it is very smooth, optics look to be clear, no marks I can see, no nasties. Assume it will need collimating. This lens was new in 1982 and has been well used over the years so the external finish shows some wear, I think it still looks okay though. The focus is engraved in both feet and metres, with feet marks being painted, should be straightforward to paint in the metre engravings and black out the feet if required. Comes in a welded aluminium flightcase and includes a friction fit plastic gear that can on the zoom ring. The zoom ring already has gearing but I presume the plastic ring makes the gearing the same diameter as the focus gearing. I would hope to get at least £2500 + VAT on Ebay for this.

Optex-Canon 10.5-210mm T2.4. Arri PL mount. Peli case. In absolutely mint condition apart from very very minor scuffing where the clamp-on mattebox mounts. I believe his lens was new in 2002. This is an S16 lens a huge 20x zoom ratio. Mechanics are smooth, optics appear excellent. It has hardly been used since new. I would hope to get at least £3000 + VAT on Ebay for this.

O'Connor Ultimate 2060 Fluid Head, with O'Connor Large Euro Camera Platform 120mm, 1 x Pan Arm 18mm dia, 150m Ball Base w/ Tiedown) and welded aluminium flight case. Plus Ronford-Baker Heavy Duty Tripod. 150mm bowl. I would hope to get more than £3000 + VAT on Ebay for this.

Ronford-Baker Hi Hat. 150mm bowl. I would hope to get over £120 + VAT on Ebay

I know this is a slightly odd way of offering kit for sale and rest assured I haven't got a clue what I am doing. I just couldn't decide how to price stuff.

Let me know if you think my guide prices are unrealistic or too fantastic, it is very difficult to pin down the correct market value with the state of thing as they are at the moment.

Cheers

Martin, is there any reason for selling the O'Connor head with the heavy sticks? Any problems with it?

I am just selling it to raise some cash. It's a lovely thing, no problems at all.

I had a huge amount of interest in the O'Connor/Ronford and some very significant offers, one of which I accepted. The Optex - Canon lens is also sold. I had some excellent offers for the Cooke too but I have decided to hang on to that for the moment, because it may be useful. Thanks to everyone who made offers, my PM folder has never been so busy :)

Cheers
