Hi guys,

Didn't find anything related to exactly what I need help with: I'm setting up a post production studio with off/online 4K editing, VFX, grading, sound design and finishing capabilities. I'm presently compiling hardware and software from the B&H online store; any advise an/or recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Don't mean to sound harsh but do you think you should hire a consultant? Might be more helpful than a forum. Especially if you don't have specific questions.

Just a tip.

A lot of the higher end software isn't sold though photography stores. You should check out Autodesk Smoke and Flame. They've been doing 4k real time for years. Where are you located?
Cheers,
Sam

Many thanks. If there's any consultant out there reading this, please get in touch. I have a job for you. :)

You could send me a more specific question, and I may or may not be able to help.

We are already leaning toward a Smoke/Flame based system. Any more help with the hardware specifics will do. We would be setting up the studio in South Africa.
