Seeking RED DP/Collaborator In Los Angeles

I'm a filmmaker looking to connect with someone in Los Angeles that owns a RED ONE Camera to shoot some tests and take the rig for a spin. I'm open to shooting whatever; I just want to connect with someone that is passionate about imaging, maybe someone that just got a RED and wants to see what it can do.

I'm an international award-winning writer, director and producer with experience in commercials and narrative work. Some of my recent clients include: Fox Searchlight Pictures, Fox Broadcasting, Big Imagination Group, Turner Broadcasting, Current TV.

I'm currently gearing up to shoot a feature with the RED this Summer, but I thought it would be nice to mess around with it beforehand and maybe meet some new people. I also have a simple idea for a short, visually-driven, non-fiction piece, similar in concept to BARAKA (but obviously on a much smaller scale).

Hey BigLu,

I was never looking for DP for a specific project. I'm more looking for someone who is down to do some tests and maybe collaborate on something. If it works out with that person, then who knows, maybe we will work together on something. But for now, I'm just proposing something a little more informal.

But yes, I have connected with a bunch of very cool cats with Reds. But I'm always open to meeting new people and tinkering around, so drop me a line via PM if you're interested and let's see what we can shoot! :-)
