I need a suggestion on where to get a decent quality used 20-100 or 18-100
Also, is the difference really significant between the two? (worth the extra $$)
Any help will be much appreciate.
Thanks

Try this site: http://www.jimon.com/jimon_cameras/lenses/lenses.html.

I have two 18-100's and they are great. I believe the 20-100mm is an older model by 10+ years, release in '71. I'm not an expert, but IMHO, a lens that old might still have good glass, but I would check - in person - all the gears and mount condition carefully. There's lots of factors that could effect an old lens, moisture, mildew, breakdown of internal parts, etc. If you are serious about evaluating one, see if you can have it checked out by a reliable lens service shop within the return timeframe.

Thanks for a great info clearlighter.
I am leaning towards 18-100.
