OK, I'm reluctantly retiring one of the best computers I've ever owned...

Power Mac G5 Quad 2.5GHz (2 x dual-core G5 CPUs)
4GB (4 x 1GB)
nVidia Quadro FX4500 512MB video (2 x DVI Dual-Link, genlock)
2 x 500GB 7200rpm HDDs
16X Dual-Layer SuperDrive
Apple Keyboard & Mouse
OSX 10.4 Tiger and iLife '05 included
Manufactured 10/2005
Purchased January 18, 2006
AppleCare good to January 2009
All original pakcaging, docs.

$3160

Very nice, well cared for system, runs great. Keyboard and mouse are essentially new - only used about a week before I swapped them for a Logitech system. Other config possibility with 7800GT card instead of FX4500, read below.

Also available with or on its own is a 30" DELL LCD, model 3007FW-A. First revision Dell 30". It's a nice monitor, but isn't quite as bright as the Rev-B or the current 30" model. Has one stuck pixel (blue) at approximate x1540, y806 location.

Asking $775 or best

If interested please PM me or email me at: Jeff at AppliedVisual dot com. I can have pictures online sometime in the next couple days if anyone wants to see them.

bump.

Pictures available on request. If no serious lookers show up within the next week, these items will go on ebay.

I have had several people email about this system, but no one serious enough to buy.

Price as listed above is $3160 Buyer pays shipping or can pick up near Denver, CO.

The system with the 7800GT video card I have listed in another thread instead of the FX4500 would be $2210.

I will sell the FX4500 card on its own for $950, but only if the 7800GT card is still available, I have to keep a video card for this system.

For those of you thinking the price is too high, start watching ebay and other markets. The G5 Quads are going UP in value. Several high-end applications have still not made the transition to Intel (sad, but true).

This system will be listed on ebay at the end of this week if no one takes it.

Jeff, I don't think that's an unfair price, but since REDCODE won't work on PPC architecture, this probably isn't the best venue. You'll have better luck on eBay.

I know. I just figured I'd throw it up here and a few other places before I go the ebay route. I'll give it a few more days.
