Here's a quick grade on one of them. The recompression to JPG blows out the highlights and exarcebates saturation a bit much, but I like this shot, so I gave it a pass.

Hi, I like it, had no time yet to go in grading, but I love the basic footage, indoor most of the time shot with avalaible light and some fill (1X1200 HMI bounced). Small team, travellings with Zeiss 85mm wide open, no focus puller on set, and just the LCD, quiet hard ;-) So EVF will help my eyes...

Hehe, you're welcome, I'm not living in Lucerne but in Biel-Bienne, the frontier between swiss french and swiss german speaking people. There is a lake too, less expensive for living but better wind for surfing and sailing ;-)

Guys, you know what the funny thing is? I would rather be in the Mojawe desert, Death Valley, under water, on the Highway one from Frisco down to Los Angeles, in Argentina or on the rice fields of the philippines, where ever. I love Switzerland, the mountains specially, but sometimes it is to clean to me. I think, we redusers should change our places to reopen our eyes, for the beauty of the things. That's what I knew from the beginning, when I started to believe in RED: This camera will give me the freedom, to catch, what my eyes see, to cut out the special moments. In the next weeks I plan to shoot very controlled beauty shots with models, little stories, you will see, I plan to shoot a feature (not shure if we get the money). But the best thing is: RED can do this all – perfect. Well, there are still some questions, thing that will be better, but as Jim stated: this camera is now perfect for me. So it is.

Yeah our country is to clean. Clean, clean, clean everywhere.
We need some dirt, some more raw spots.
That's why I love the USA. You can go from super clean do preaty fucked up all in one day.
Well, you cant have it all:biggrin:
Cheers

You should come to my town in the UK if you want dirt, scum and villainy. Was shooting some scenes from my next feature with a real life doormen (6ft 8 tall) and he got a phone call during driving back at about 7am. He put it on speaker phone. Apparently, during his night-off while he was shooting with us, they had to 'drag the bodies out' after a fight had kicked off between rival gangs.
Yet the surrounding countryside can look beautiful in the Summer and Autumn months.

I am pleased that the skin tones look so good, it's been an issue with many shots posted IMHO.
Sorry I could not meet you today in Zurich, I was at the other side of Switzerland!

Hi Stephen
Yes, skin tones looks very good indeed, with RED you can use quiet the same lighting techniques as you would use for film, no more fills in every corner, no woods of tripods like for BETA or HD just to fake some deepness in (ok, depends... for a swiss commercial shot on 35mm I once used about fifteen just for a piece of cheese, hehehe)

I have to think about, how to share/not share R3d files, or larger ones, was a bit to much the last days so give me some time. If this were test shots, ok, no problem, but this is a money job ;-)

Indeed, the compositions reveal an eye behind the art and the steel-kind of color tone in several samples is attractive.

ah, this is good news indeed, you just got your RED and you're already making money!
btw is your actual position in the job either cam operator/DP/director or all the three together?
as of now if think you're the nearest pro-RED user to me ... almost the same distance to Elcurado?

Hi Valde, yes, I'm making money. To answer your question: We have a production company and I'm to 60% Director/DOP and the other 40% I shoot the films as DOP for my partner. Milano is about 4 hours from Biel-Bienne, to Genova it's about 6 I think

I gave a look at your website, awesome works!
I think we should meet, i'm a pro VFX supervisor for commercials and film industry (now working on next Giuseppe Tornatore's movie) but a semipro as filmmaker, so i'm looking for some pro-red experiences before the baby arrives.
Maybe we could have a vfx for filmaking experience trade? :)
Let me know if i can make a visit, can also send you some showreels etc ...
