We are in need of a Red camera for several days for a short film in Laguna Beach, for the 168 film festival this coming March from the 5th through the 8th.
The film will premiere at the 168 film festival in April, and then will be submitted to other festivals around the country. Our budget is extremely limited, so any creative partnerships within the RED community would be awesome.
This will be a very rewarding and fast moving project, and we would of course be more than happy to offer the footage to the camera owner / DIT, and those involved at other capacities for a demo reel or other promotional purposes.
The festival is set up in such a way that you have one week to write your script, and then you are given one week to shoot and edit the film. The films are then screened a month later in LA, so no waiting for months or years to see the fruits of your labor.
If you and your camera are eager for some community and edifying use, and any other resources, equipment, etc...please give me a shout!
