There is a lot going on in New York City on June 5th.
Kwan started a thread on a road show & training - Thanks to him, I'm spending a few more hours in the city that day than I first anticipated....

During the evening, there is another event at the Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Film Center (Located at NYU, 36 East 8th Street).
In a very special presentation to the the New York Chapter of SMPTE, senior technologists from Adobe and Apple will outline how they leveraged new
64-bit architecture in rewriting their applications for the coming decade of file-based, metadata-driven, HD-and-beyond editing.
Should be an interesting complement to the other event.
The SMPTE meeting is open to our user community at no charge - but pre-registration is required.
