So in Redcine, when I am done grading a dozen shots, I go to OUTPUT, select my Output Path, then click on Name and select [input file name + numbers] Then I render..

Instead of giving me individual files, Redcine sent out one big quicktime file of my timeline and named it Redmag.mov

I then accidentally went in and graded a few more shots, did the same thing, and Redcine rewrote over that Redmag.mov file without asking permission.

Also, sometimes I'll render out a clip, and Redcine will only give me a static image that plays for the same length.

:alien: :umm:

Click on the filename. A window will popup and there's a button there to include a folder per clip

Rob why does separating clips into different folders solve the problem?

I thought your problem was that you didn't want a single big file... if you do then my bad.

Your suggestion on having it ask to overwrite is understood. How would you like that to work for image sequences where some image frames do exist and others don't?

We are still working on finding and fixing the freeze frame problem. In the meantime there's a thread for a work around (can't seem to find it at the moment though... sorry)
