****SOLD****

For sale is a mint condition Chrosziel MB415 mattebox with two 4x5.65 filter stages. The second rotating filter tray also handles 5x5 filters. The mattebox is great for RED and EPIC setups, because its lightweight, superbly constructed, and versatile as it can handle up to 10mm wide angle lens without vignetting. We tested it with a Duclos 11-16mm lens in 4.5K and it worked great. Definitely one of the best MB's that Chrosziel makes. Item was barely used.

The kit I am selling includes the MB415 mattebox, 2 filter stages, top french flag, and 15mm center bracket. You can buy an optional swing away adapter if you like, as well as a variety of rubber bellows / step-down rings to fit different lenses.

The mattebox currently sells new for $2,266... link to the product: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/463895-REG/Chrosziel_AC_415_02F110_415_02F110_Matte_Box_Syste m.html

Details:
The Chrosziel MatteBox MB415 (CLWAH-F4.5) includes a Double Filter Stage for filters up to 5.65x5.65 and 5x6” vertical. Both filters can be moved and fixed in any vertical positions, the second also rotates, depending on the used filter 360 ° or up to 240º. For optimum use of the picture angle, the first filter stage is equipped with a multi-format filter-holder for 4x4 and 4x5.65” filters, the second with multi format filterholder for 5x5 and 4x5.65” filters. Using 4x5.65” filters in the front stage and 5x5“ in the second, makes full use of the wide angle format for any position of the rotating stage. For even more flexibility when using e.g. graduation filters, insert 5x6” filters in the first stage (filter-holder 510-02). Rear diameter is 143.5mm, on which Rubber bellows can be used (which include 138mm round filter) to step down to 95mm, 100mm, or 110mm. Variety of step-down rings and flex-rings are also available.

Just so I get this straight, what does this need to attach to the front of a scarlet? I assume those are 19 rails?

Thanks!

Hey Kevin- If you've got 15mm LWS rod setup on your scarlet, then this MB will attach direcctly to the rods. If you've got 19mm setup, what I use is a 15mm to 19mm adapter by Zacuto Jeep, or you could use the Chrosziel adapter. I think Arri and others also make this similar type of adapter... it's widely available. I have a Zacuto Jeep and if you're interested, I could bundle that up with the kit.

As far as I know, most MB's are generally equipped with the 15mm rod bracket since that's the industry standard, and converting to 19mm rods is an easy step.

Furthermore, if you wanted to make this a swing away, get the Chrosziel swing away adapter, and then attach that to the 19mm rods.
