I have just purchased a Miller Arrow 40 Tripod. Can someone please advise what accessories I would need for mounting RED on this tripod.

I think you can just screw in the tripod base plate and go. There should be mounting screw holes in the base of the camera. I'm supposing they are at the front so that you will be able to get the camera on your shoulder too..
Can anyone at RED confirm that? (if y'all can stop playing with build 14 for a minute..:innocent: )

Joon,
If you like bring your sticks into Rocket Wellington on Monday (1100 onwards or Tuesday before 1400) and we can put the Red on your Tripod.
My first thought though is you will be at maximum payload for that set and if it's not to late I would advise going for the 55.

Hi Joon,
the Shoulder Dove Tail (included in the Base Production Pack), allows the mounting of just about any tripod plate, however initial feedback is that there is a little play in Shoulder Dove Tail. For a rock solid mounting solution you might be better off with the Red Cheese Plate. Maybe the Arri mounting plates offer alternative sturdier solutions, I haven't heard about that. Maybe someone with experience with those can chime in ? My concern is going from shoulder to tripod and back, if you have to change to the cheese plate, it won't be very practical.
Cheers,
Damien
