if I want to see the Red revealing and presentation, which item should I register for? Conference(free), exhibits paid($150), exhibits only($0).
sorry, NAB NEWB. :construction:

In 16 or so NAB's, I've only done the free exhibits. It's MORE than enough to do for the entire time.
BTW, we're not joking when talking about the need for physical conditioning for the show. You are walking, walking, walking. And then add all the potential evening fun jumping around Vegas and you will be tired and sore. I've day hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back on a couple previous trips to NAB, and consider the long slow grind of the show the more difficult challege of the two...

Heed the words of these wise gentleman,
I was foolish enought to wear regular cheap sneakers to the first show I went
to and almost had to buy corrective shoes by the end. Ended up paying too much at the fashion showplace whatever mall on the strip for decent shoes.
But man my dawgs where happy for them.

What dates and where should we be to maximize our RED experience at NAB. Like unveiling, 4k screening, reservation holder events etc. ?

Nothing specific event-wise has been announced. At the moment, just plan to drop by the booth whenever. As JJ would say, "subject to change", of course.
The irony is you'll know as soon or sooner any new NAB announcements on-line that NAB Monday morning. But, you'd miss the fun of meeting some of these crazy folks...
Also remember that there's SO much to see at the show... no matter how important RED is to you, it will be just one part of a larger experience...
