Lock or unlock image buffer to get away from blue preview screen after a few frames have been played. Is there a preference pulldown?

Im thinking I may need to upgrade my computer to the latest greatest MacBook Pro?????

Are you saying you had the problem with QT 7.4 installed but now that you're back to 7.3.1 it works as it should?

Sorry, the problem was with After Effects and QT 7.4 is now resolved. I thought that maybe because I went there 7.4 and back with out a total reinstall (using a app called Pacifist) that maybe I was still getting some of the problems with the new REDCINE. You know left over bits of the upgrade still hanging around? Short version is why do I get images for a few frames and then a blue preview screen when I just hit play. I cant get rid of it. even if I wait for a while. Is there a way to adjust the image buffering. This all happens at 1/2 rez. in the preview window.
