Will a HD zoom lens work in the 3K mode with a B4 mount?

They will "work", but 3K mode will be recording a larger area than what the lens projects on the sensor.

2K just barely works, so I doubt most B4 lenses would cover. At that point it would be on a lens by lens basis to see coverage.
