RED Side handles, Cheese Plate and Wing Nuts

Quick question. Just how necessary are 4 side handles, the Cheese Plate and the wingnuts? What do you guys use them for?

Man that stuff is great for rigging, we used them to help mount the red in Dale Jr.'s Car and on the side of a steam train. They are handy!

IMO you will need the cheese plate if you do not order the Red arri plate ..
the Red bottom plate with the dove tail just isn't solid for a studio rigged RED..

wing nuts - IMO order the set of 5 ... they can break ... they are used with bottom plate, universal mounts , handles , top mounts ...

i had ordered 4 side mounts ( handles) but returned 2 ... so far haven't had a need for more ....

Tweetsie Railroad!! I loved that thing as a kid. Fond fond memories.

I've ordered two side handles for now, and I might get two to four with the second camera. It is good for protecting the dumb side and all the wires, and, as we have seen, for afixing the camera to railroad engines.

Isn't there a specifc railroad engine mount yet?
