I am experimenting system freeze when I copy R3D files from a RED Drive to a ntfs formated hard drive. No problem when I copy the same files to a fat32 formated hard drive on the same system and no problem when copying R3D files from a CF card to the same ntsf formated drive.
It seems to me that the RED drive doesn't like to copy its files to a ntsf formated drive....seems strange but that's what I'm experimenting.
I am running xp64, SP1
Thanks for help.
ciao,
antoine.

How should the RED drive notice where its data is going? It's just delivering the requested data. If you have problems writing it on a certain drive it's most likely a problem with that specific drive - or the OS/drivers.

SORRY for the report problem, as it has nothing to do with the RED drive.

Told you so. :sarcasm:

Well, I've successfully copied the content of a RED RAID to a ntfs formated single hard drive, but still I'm not able to copy it to a CALDIGIT 2 bay raid in mode raid 0. I have this CALDIGIT since months, and had no problem at all with it, never had to install any driver for it...
I will try this CALDIGIT on xp32 bit to see it I have more success. Will report on it.
ciao,
antoine.

Hello Antoine,
Here a low low light test of this week end. I kind of like this picture even if it seams slight out of focus. My assist. was 5 cm off:biggrin:
Have a nice week. It was fun to do these "test" with you.
