Hi all.

Working with Build 14 on a TVC on saturday. Is there any way to get more than the LCD out of the camera currently? HDMI even?

Just trying to figure what monitor will be best for the shoot. One that I have to work off too or just a playback one for the director (who'd love to see a live shot of course).

Thanks,

Dale

under build 13 you could get EFV & HDMI working .. choose EFV & PVW and the HDMI would work ... however under build 14 the HDMI stopped working on 103 ... NOTE: i do not have a EFV - so i only assume the EFV & HDMI worked together from reading post ...
you could go out the PVW to HD-SDI monitor and if that monitor has a HD-SDI out then to another monitor etc ...

from what i've seen - if you use the AJA HD i/o all output become hot when you connect something into any input = you now have SD , HD , HDMI all hot on teh AJA .

That shouldn't be the case, in both 13 and 14 if you select EVF+PVW mode you should have RED-EVF, plus 3 copies of 1280 x 720 HD-SDI with frame guides and 1 copy of 1280 x 720 HDMI with frame guides.

Use a monitor with an HDSDI loop-thru, such as the Panasonic BT-LH900

or

Go out to an Aja IO-HD and from there back to the camera to a Marshall or other HD onboard, and to the director's monitor, video cart, etc.

At this point you can't use the Red LCD if you want any HDSDI outs.

At this time, with the LCD enabled, no other monitor output can enabled (we are working hard to fix this). When EVF + PVW or PVW 720p are selected you will have three copies of the HD-SDI Preview signal available to you - the HD Preview and both sides of the Dual Link HD-SDI, and in addition the HDMI port is active.

All of the outputs are 1280 x 720p. If the LCD is connected you can toggle between these other outputs and the LCD being active.

I think someone said that in the future we will also be able to have 1080P output. Please correct me if I am wrong.
