I've some doubts...
what FCP means for RGB
True RGB (linear light)
R'G'B' (gamma corrected)
Y' Cb Cr 444
In its settings FCP uses YUV (which is intermediate step in the formation of composite NTSC or PAL video signals) but -I think_ in reality it means Y' Cb Cr which is appropriate for component digital video.
So maybe is doing some confusion also with RGB
