Try this thread. I understand Chris Burket was making some to fit RED. But there are some other excellent ideas as well.

I am indeed making a raincover. It will be modular for using many different lenses, configurations etc... Tried on my mock-up at Element last week. Fabric is on order and I'll make up about 6 production prototypes, then do a run of 100-300.
Also making a camera cover (to keep out water and dust while camera isn't playing) and RED cart covers (no more truck full of bag-its.)

Any concerns about the camera overheating in tropical or desert (dust) conditions?
I know RED has gotten the cam to run much cooler, but to what extent?

Has anyone tried the camera with a Kata RC-10 or RC-1?

This sounds crazy, but I've seen it done for cameras in configurations that just can't fit into rain covers...
Industrial strength trash bags.
It looks super ghetto (because it is), but I've seen it work really well, especially with semi translucent bags. Can't hurt to have a few packed away for emergency situations.

Every good AC I know keeps some industrial strength poly bags in their kit. My favorite are the super thick ones they give you at the airport for hiking backpacks. They are damn near indestructible, and are extra long (4-5 feet).

Clear plastic bags are the best camera rain cover money can buy. There is nothing getto about it, they simply work the best. The most expensive arri and panavision cameras around are protected on every film production in Vancouver this way. You will be hard pressed to find a more popular production location that gets more rain then Vancouver. There are always problems in one way or another with specially made camera rain covers and in the end a simple large clear bag with bulldog clips works best. Extra bonus is when the weather clears you don't have to dry it out you just throw it away.

i have used a portabrace that was made for the sony z1u with success. i used it in the rain in dubai and as a warmer in a freezer (with had warmers stuck to the camera and then the portabrace over them to keep the heat in).

Well, with my HVX I've used XL ziploc bags like these...

I get mine at Home Deopt in the section where they sell cleaning supplies. Works great with a Varizoom controller. However, if I were rolling without external controls, I'd definitely go with a portabrace or kata cover. I've used the portabrace with the HDX-900 and like that option a lot.
As far as RED goes, I have concerns about air blockage of the fan. When I get my RED, I'm going to have to look at this one carefully. Does anyone know if the fan only blows on a heatsink while all the electronics are still contained separately? Is the fan easy to clean?

Coming soon. I kept making changes as I saw more and more configurations. But I'm pushing hard to get the first 100 done.
