Welcome to the future of digital cinema! As a Red (http://www.red.com/) exclusive rental and production company, Visceral Psyche is pleased to offer the revolutionary Red One (http://www.red.com/) cameras for rental here in Japan, along with Epic, Scarlet and RED-RAY once they become available.

http://www.visceralpsyche.com/images/RedCamPhoto3Framed.png

Here at Visceral Psyche we don't believe in renting you half a camera package and then charging you for all the additional items you require to actually shoot. Our package price is all-inclusive of everything you need to shoot (full list below), as well as providing technical expertise on set at no extra cost in the form of a camera operator/DIT (digital imaging technician) who is trained in all facets of Red One operation and workflow, giving you peace of mind that your footage is created and transferred safely and without problems.

Rental Package Price Information

We have changed our rental rate system to make your budgeting easier! As of October 1st 2008 our pricing structure is as follows:

http://www.visceralpsyche.com/misc/web_images/rate_table.png

Due to our policy of providing a camera operator/DIT with all cameras, pick up of equipment will be on the day of the shoot and returned at the end of the last day of the shoot, unless otherwise arranged prior to the shoot itself. Any bookings taken under the prepaid rate will revert to the normal rate if not paid for in full prior to picking up the equipment.

Visceral Psyche Red Rental Package

Each camera package includes the following items and options:

Red One Digital Cinema Camera (body)
Red LCD or EVF *
Audio Cable (Line In) - 4x XLR to Mini-XLR
Power Pack (charger plus 3x 140Whr Li-Ion batteries)

Finally, you need a backup hard drive (which we can supply at cost) to store your raw footage on. Our DIT will assist with transferring, backing up and verifying the footage each day (which can be converted to your chosen post-production format for an additional fee back at our office). We can also create an additional backup for security (in its original R3D format for maximum quality) which will be stored securely at our production office, giving you a distributed backup plan in case of any unforeseen disaster, again for only the cost of the hard drive itself.

Visceral Psyche Films reserves the right to alter prices and specifications as necessary, however once you have booked, your price will be fixed and not subject to change.

The rig was brought over from Europe for the shoot. As far as gyro stabilisation goes, I can't see it posing any problems but you might want to ask Mark Roberts Motion Control (http://www.mrmoco.com/) directly for more information.
