Concerns about balance

I was looking at the renderings and started wondering if having the status display on the back of the camera is a good idea at all. In one rendering, the drive and battery are stacked on top of the camera. This looks like a top-heavy arrangement that would make the camera tipsy on your shoulder.

But with the packs on the back of the camera for better balance, access to the controls, display, and connectors looks heavily compromised.

It's probably too late in the game to rethink this, but wouldn't it be better to have the status display on the left side of the camera?

Too late... but you need to see all the possibilities (including info on the LCD and EVF) before passing judgment. The configurations are endless. Pick the ones you want and ignore the rest.

It looks like you can set this bracket so the drive/Bat combo is lower and out of the way of the LCD display.
