"Audio Fault"???

Both our cams showed an "Audio Fault" and stopped recording. They picked right back up with no problems. Build 12 and a pretty warm room. Not running sound although audio recording is enabled.

So you have audio tracks enabled but you are not recording audio, is this right?
If so may I ask why you are doing that?

Any thoughts on what causes the 'audio fault' error? I got it on the first take of the shoot today, recording 4k b16 RC36 25fps, 2 channels of audio as line in. The batt was down to 20% and I swapped it with a fresh one, which seems to have fixed the problem.

I've heard that low battery causes some systems to falter, such as the LCD dimming etc. I haven't seen it myself, only heard from others. Maybe this is what happened?

I have been getting the same error on occasion.

Most recently B16 4K 16:9 RC28.

Recording two tracks of audio, jam synched to the timecode slate.
