Well at least he thought a hug was more appropriate anyway. I think he was pretty dum-founded as to why I had the WIDEST grin in the whole world. At least that's what my aunt says. She's never seen me so enthusiastic about getting ANY gear.

Yes! It was Xmas all over again, and instead off all the presents going to all the bratty kids... It was ME, ME ME ME ME ME! Okay well this time, it cost me big. By far the largest check I've ever wrote...and the fact that I never got to touch or hold anything I was gonna be buying really gave it a surreal experience.
I wanted to give a BIG shout out to Randy@Red...this guy hooked it all up and really made me feel like my order was not only the utmost in priority, but really explained the intricacies of all the components to great lengths. Thanks a lot Randy, you ROCK!

I've been wanting to post these pics for a while but I've been really busy shooting. Had a pretty ambitious green screen shoot last weekend, complete with soldiers with armor, spears, & princesses. And I must say, it IS the easiest key I've ever pulled. One click in the keyer got me 85% there!

I've got good things to say about the cam and some things that could use a bit more work in terms of the hardware but that's a different post all together.
Here's some pics, and video coming to red relay

Thanks Jim & the Red crew, you've built one helluva thing...
-Eli

Happy camera B-day!

Notice that "RED" on the side of the body appears to be silver, liked buffed-out? On both of ours it is black like the rest of the body. Must be a different vintage?

.....

YES!!!!!!!

your awesome buddy, glad I did some good for you, I know its a lot of money and all the accessories can be tricky for sure. I'm still learning them.

By the way you guys don't have to kiss the FedEx guy I personally do that for you.... usually a girl that picks it up but sometimes I get lucky and Juan comes for pick up....

you need anything else you know where to reach me.

have fun with it!
