Battery not charging?

Sorry if posted before, but I have observed two times that a battery on the charger starts a charging cycle but when I come back to it later it is not charging anymore. Made life interesting for me as we do a lot of Steadicam! There would be only one battery on the charger. No interruption of power or other factors involved. Battery simply starts to charge and then quits. Light on charger is green. Pull battery off and put it back on and charging cycle goes through just fine. Any ideas out there?

Paul,

The batteries you placed on charge, were they completely depleted? as in you pulled them off the camera after getting the countdown of power off?

We have found that on occasion the chargers need to trickle feed a completely depleted battery before kicking into the charging cycle.

Ah, that would make sense. I believe they were nearly on E before putting them on the charger.
