So, if I wanted the most basic EFP setup it would be:
the camera ($17,500),
a base RED RAIL package ($1250),
power pack ($1650),
an EVF ($2950- ouch!),
and a RED DRIVE ($900),
totalling (pre tax) around $22,000 (after the allowance of $2500)

Does this sound about right, or are there other base needs?

(And that is without any audio setup which I assume will be addressed later).

Any of you field guys out there have any input I would love to hear it.

This is right but since you have an early res you would get this for $19,500.

with the $2500 allowance applied we are looking at around $22K pre tax.

$21,750 after deducting your $2,500

I shall not comment on the prices since i dont have enough experience on what one should be paying. does seem a little high for some items though?

But thank you for the discount nevertheless.

Ah, I forgot the $1000 deposit which brings the base price down closer to $21000.
