Any details on the raw port would be great as I plan on getting one -
still 60p 4.5K RAW ..?

I'm a little sad to see that the RAW port is Factory installable only, and removes the ability for the Red flash options except the $4500 64GB red ram.
I think this is a pretty hard choice...
Is this really correct. No way to upgrade later on, and no way to exchange with a flash option afterwards?

I am sure you could send it in and change options for a fee. That would be logical. It does however appear to be the only way to get 60p in 4K -

Seriously, how many of us are going to be shooting uncompressed RAW?
Especially if the Red Ram can do 60P 4K Redcode (I don't know if this is true but I'm hoping against hope).

Evin. If we can do 60p 4k redcode, no one. But it would be pretty surprising to me with 100% better performance than promised...
it's just that 120 fps 2k that seems so nice, even if it costs $6500

If it doesn't.... this could be a problem for many of us.

My understanding is that REDCODE can only do 30fps in 4K, so, yeah, unless there is a new update I missed - you need to be RAW for 4K at 60p

not many. but some will. high end commercials and VFX shots.

Me thinks not a media speed issue - me thinks - compression speed issue

It's purely a compression issue. It's very hard to do 4k compression, at the quality we want, in real time. To do 4k60 is currently out of reach.

That is the only thing I will miss about my HVX, no slow-mo options without being tethered into the matrix.

Any more details on RAW PORT available before NAB?
Or a YES or NO on the ability to capture some 60p 4K RAW onto the RED RAM ??

And for clarification purposes, there will be no way either than with the Red Raw Port to record 2k 1-120fps correct?

What is the storage capacity I know the size of the drive but how much media time is it?

Pretty sure you can do 120fps 2K to RED DRIVE.

From my knowledge that feature was removed, could be wrong though?

2k cropped in redcode is up to 60 fps
720p cropped in redcode is up to 120 fps

Yes, it was removed.

$6500 + RED RAID cost [unknown]

$6,500 for a port is kinda steep. Unless the RED RAID is less than $10k with 500+ GB SATA drives pre-installed.
