First time out shooting our new Red --
a couple hours into the shoot after powering up again -- the LCD started to make a high toned hum... actually more noticeable than the Red fan.
anyone else have this problem?

Yes, it is a known issue in build 14 that has made the LCD hum loud in many people's Cameras.
RED has stated they are aware and are working on a fix.

Actually Casey, the hum issue was solved with build 14 version 2.0.3.
Thomas, you may have the same problem as my LCD has.
I've yet to been able to send it in to RED for a fix, but you should give them a call and have it checked out if it's overly noisy.

cool .... thanks... I'll call them tomorrow..
strange this is I'm wondering if on some the 14 2.03 fix some and possibly messed up others.. because I never had this problem until 14 2.03 :-(
