I have one in OCT-19 mount (russian) I'm very happy with it. It's a little warm compared to Zeiss's, but nice. Matt really should chime in here as he is the expert in rusky optics.

My set was always in OCT-19 mount so there were not many chances to compare directly with zeiss - The times I shot with them I thought they were great lenses. Mine are in Russia now getting converted to PL and I'll post a report and some images when I get them back ( should be 3-4 weeks )

If you look at the video I shot for "the Vacation" it was shot entirely with Russian lenses and there is some good looking available light night exterior too.

Also the video for "the Bravery" is about half Russian lenses...

Did you buy it?

No I didn't, don't have $900 to experiment with. Besides that I just bought a used Angenieux 25-250mm PL. But someone bid on it after this thread went up, makes me think a Reduser did. So I'm really hoping that whoever did will post back with findings, hopefully even screen caps or footage.
