Te he. REDuser has kept me going this last week. It's been wonderful.
We've had some great tech discussions too. It's not all just fun!

The site is a blast - wait until we are all uploading screengrabs from what we shoot -
Graeme & Rob -
How cool is it that your code is on some piece of silicon in that little baby!! Inside every one!! That's gotta feel good!

I still can't get over the awesomeness of what we saw at IBC, or even better the more recent footage we've seen. It really, really does look stunning, and that's me saying it myself :-)

Everyone who has seen it in person, especially on the big screen, seconds that opinion, it does look stunning...and I think you and Rob deserve to say so!

At IBC, first projection, the footage was... a dawn.
I'm here on Reduser, day by day, waiting for my breakfast...
This site rocks.

I think it is going to be awesome when all of us Redservation holders get our cameras while the rest of the nay-sayers/industry dorks will be regretting not putting money down way back when. I hope the hype and other peoples' lack of confidence in RED get me enough gigs to pay it off within the year because it will be so HOT HOT HOT
I love you guys - You are my heros - I promise as a filmmaker I will not let you down..
REVOLT!!!!
That being said, I just saw David Lynch's INLAND EMPIRE last night, all shot on a PD-150 - It's amazing how you forget about the picture quality when you're wrapped up in a great, compelling storyline..

I get back from class or work and this is the first site I go to. I see a whole page full of new/updated threads and just get going. It's a horrible addiction.
I post too much.
I spent 7 hours in a DI class today correcting the professor. I learned a decent amount of it here and at DVXuser. :)

nice avatar offhollywood !
In a strange sort of way it will be odd once we all have our cameras....will the addiction continue or will we be so busy making 4K images that no one will hear from us ?

Heheh, it's worth it.
It'll be interesting to see what happens when this place blows up. RED imagery will be commonplace, everybody will have their hands on the camera, etc. You know what? We'll still be sitting around shooting the internet equivalent of knowing glances at each other. Yeah, we've been following RED from day one. We were there when the first body renders came out, when REDCODE was announced, when Frankie and Spike got their names, etc. We'll be standing in that RED booth in Vegas feeling like we've played some part in its existence. All those other people? They can hop up and down and tell me all they want about the camera: they can give me a history lesson, a feature list, you name it. All I'll be able to do is nod and smile.
That's what REDuser is like. ;)

Well hopefully I get mine in June and when I make my annual road trip to Japan (wife is from Japan) in October I'll shoot some shots of Shibuya! I agree with you on being part of history with Red. Anyway this is a great forum I may not post much but I been there since day one reading and learning.

No Hunny I'm not on Reduser right now.
Yeah this place has been really grate to have. Majior props Jarred. We all love and know DVXuser so well and personally for me that will always be a place I call home. But it is grate to be on the ground floor of a new home. With some of the same guys that made the other site so worth while. Can't wait to have a few drinks with you guy again this year at NAB..
Two words..

Nodding and smiling is one reaction. But I've got the condescending "You're telling ME?" look down pat
