Our RED batt charger occasionally whines whilst charging. Of course the charger works absolutely perfectly, but is this whine atypical of these chargers?

From my minimal exposure, it seems to be normal. I did notice my first time using such chargers that they were quite noisy.

Many chargers have fans and are meant to be off set. No big deal.

Yup, I've got the same whine and this has been found on 4 different chargers.
It's just part of the charger.......Seems to pop up when the battery is at its finishing point.

Fans seem to kick in when extra cooling is necessary during high-amperage portions of the charge cycle.
