I think RED stands to make a TON of money off this camera. The R&D for the sensor / workflow is completed with RED ONE - a few modifications and "restrictions" with a lower price point, and you wind up with:
1. Scarlet body - fits in pocket! Manual controls on lenses.
2. Lenses sold separately (by RED of course)
3. Offloading/recording options sold separately (by RED of course)
4. Long term battery power sold separately (by RED of course).
I'm guessing the price of Scarlet (body/power/storage) to run somewhere between $5-10k.
RED would sell a ton of these and make 'hella' money w/ the accessories. :matrix:
