Hi,
I know itīs maybe a stupid question, but I canīt find the answer in the forum, please! somebody can help with this:
Is the cheeseplate just full of holes or are there some screw threads?
If I would order the Red One without the CF module, what would cover the side?
Or could somebody please place a link where I can find the answers in the forum.
Thanks!

Marc

Cheeseplate has threaded holes in different sizes to fit most film size screws and tripod mounts. I think this component is a must as the shoulder dovetail isn't secure enough to prevent some wobble when attached, which for tripod work is a real no-no.

If you don't order the CF module it's just a flat plate I believe, though you'd be crazy not to order it IMHO.

Thank you Paul,
this helps a lot. So the cheeseplate is what I was looking for.
I ordered the camera with CF module, but I just wondered how would the Red be delivered if I would only use the Red Raid. A CF module without CF card connector?
Cheers
