a) a 4K resolution internal compression scheme.
b) an affordable 140 Wh battery pack capable of driving the camera and multiple accessories.
c) two digital magazines, RAID 0 and RAID 1 capable, based on hard disk or flash memory.
d) Internal recording options based on standard off-the shelf memory such as CF, Express Card etc.
e) .....
f) .....

Stuart or anyone,

Is this correct...Can REDDRIVE be configured to RAID 1 and still record at 27MB/sec?

Cheers,

no answer after 3 days...I'm betting this is a "wait for NAB" item to learn more about

Seems to be a lot of "wait for NAB" questions the last few days. Not much of anything except Jim's little teasers. Jarred is MIA, they must be shooting a lot of stuff and having way too much fun. :)

I figure, for 4k redcode raw, the answer is probably no. If i remember right, they stripped them together in raid 0 so you could use the whole disk space of the drive, as write speed slows.

Maybe for the lower data rate options you can use RAID 1 (which is cool)

I guess you probably could raid 1 REDRAM and use it to record but probably not REDDRIVE, which would leave it for only one thing.....BACKUP!
