I am trying to configure the best monitoring options for my particular situation. I would like to base everything on what we know will be enabled in version 15, because my camera will hopefully come with this build installed.
I want to be able to use LCD for 1st A.C. and EVF and Marshall for operator, and highest quality output that is left over for video village/video playback.
The marshall has component inputs and I would need an output with frame lines for operator. Is there anyway currently to do this? I understand that the sdi feeds are clean so that wouldn't be an option. Does the HDMI have frameline output? Is there any device to convert hdmi to component? Also I read posts in the past about the possibility of spliting the signal from lcd. Can anyone think of a way to do this? Lets say there is no way to accomplish the above request what device would i use to convert the sdi to component?
For video villiage/playback I own a dell 24" but I am thinking of getting an apple cinema display with AJA mini converter. Will the apple give me a significantly better picture? What are the best options besides this solution?
