After two years of waiting, failing to actually hold on to or see a camera, numerous e-mails, working my ass off to get the $1000 deposit down, and a car accident, I have finally received #813.

Good story, I was documenting my drive to my business mailbox and all was well. I got to the mailbox, saw 4 huge boxes and put them in my car as quick as I could, then proceeded to drive out of the back alley. This alley is known for blind turns and so I took my regular precautions by looking both ways twice, then pulling out slowly. All of a sudden a Toyota Celica hits my front left bumper and shatters my turning signal! I just wanted to go to my office and open up the boxes, yet this happens!!!

All was well after a cop shows up, he didn't write an accident report down because there wasn't any major damage. Supposedly a witness nearby says the girl was driving pretty fast, which makes sense I didn't see her either time I looked to the left. I'm ok and my camera is ok. My car has a few scratches on it and a shattered light, but it drives perfectly fine. It's a beast!

I'd like to thank Randy from the BOMB SQUAD for doing everything for me in regards to accessory ordering. I got up to date information and he processed the order quickly and thoroughly.

Pics and a video soon to come!

Would have been a cool first shot though.
Congrats, but did you finally opened the boxes? First impression?

Great first impressions...The camera, like said before, is built like a tank. I won't have a problem with it. It's a little bigger than I expected it to be, and I like it that way. Here's a few pictures of my office cluttered with boxes. I don't have any room any more! Still have a lot of the equipment in the plastic baggies they were shipped in only because I haven't cleared room in my Pelican 1690s yet to fit everything.

It took me a while to figure out what kind of setup I wanted, but after you do one, it's easy to do the others. My left handle's thread for the screw got stripped though, I may have to send it back, I tried numerous times to line up the threads, and I thought I got it one time, but it seems like the anodized aluminum made the threads all screwy.
