You may want to try Jensen or Techni-tool for specialized tools.

0.89mm = .035"
Call Pacific Radio in Hollywood, CA - 323 969 2035, they carry these items:
Xcelite # P19 - .035"
Wiha # 26309 - .035" / 0.89mm

At least here in Japan you can get an entire set of micro-sized Allen Wrenches, including the 0.9mm, for 100 yen, or roughly $1!!
If anyone is super desperate and can't find one I can probably buy some and airmail them to you at cost (price plus postage).
100 yen shops rule here! :)

seems most known hardware store's stop at .050 ... no demand for the .035

Really guys, If you need a 17k$ camera you should already own a set of Wiha allen wrenches, precision screw drivers, locking forceps, etc.
These are the basic tools of the trade. Plus just because you can't find it at radio shack doesn't mean it doesn't exist......

i went to local camera rental houses and they didn't have .9mm, so it's not a size used in allot of camera/video equipment ...

I've been thinking about those screws that are being used in the lens mount system on the RED camera and those ones that use those little allen head types are not the best idea for that particular application. Even if one uses a good quality allen wrench (no ball head type wrenches here) they are not going to stand up to repeated loosening and tighting as the surface area is just to small. If it was my camera I would use a good quality "cheese" or pan head slotted screw with a properarly fitted screwdriver blade. I don't know what type of screw is being used if it's a flat head I would modify the mount to accept counter bored square shoulder screws be they a cheese, pan or full size cap screw. If there is not enough depth availible one can buy shallow depth pan head screws. Either way they would be superior and last much longer. The removal of a stripped out allen screw is not the easiest thing for the average owner to do and if done wrong can lead to other complications.
Just my two cents....
Anyone know what the size is for the tiny set-screw on the knob that goes on the Red's joystick?
That little knob on our Red has come loose after about 2 hours of camera use (which must amount to maybe 10 minutes or less of joystick use). Seems there's some glue that was used by Red to supplement the set-screw in attaching the knob to the joystick. But neither has held the knob firm on our camera.
Anyone else run across this and found a solution? Tiny allen wrench?

Filmtools stocks a nifty custom kit of every miniature Wiha hex driver, and has for years. Here's a link: (http://www.filmtools.com/wistalkeyset.html)
