Did anybody attend the Editor's Lounge event in LA?

Apparently Avid demoed the Red XML workflow. I'm sure we'd love to hear a report on how it went.

I mentioned in another thread that the whole event went very well. Bob Russo from Avid did the presentation. Two workflows were shown. Current MetaCheater workflow and Red Alert! and a preview of the Red Cine XML to ALE as well as the pull list back to XML. These are getting close to being done. As soon as the XML to ALE is done, I will have that for a download for everyone to use. I am working with Deanan at Red to have it coincide with some stuff they are working on.

As far as the pull list, that will have to wait till the next release since it depends on changes to the FilmScribe output.

I did a Red Alert!/MetaCheater workflow doc for StudioDaily that should be posted soon.
