Are you referring specifically to using the handle to support the EVF or to the idea of an eyepiece leveling system altogether? Nice illustration...

In a modular system so many things are possible.

Great thought Evin. Or maybe it was already planned. either way it is a really good thing to see. I hope red puts on a standard connection point on the viewfinder for the leveling rod.

Good idea but, that's what the Red Arm is for. :greedy:

That looks cool.
Jared had a good point a while ago. If the the eyepiece leveler is an out growth of the optical viewfinder. Which we are not constrained by. Why not just support the EVF from the the same mounting point of the eypiece leveling rod and keep it off the camera altogether? Then the eyepice is constant from the head and as the head tilts the eye piece stays in one place.
(Sorry I don't have a photoshop file to illustrate, yet)

Actually a brilliant idea Mr. Jarred a.k.a. the "Fire Chief"

I used to do just this with my magic arm and Marshall. I'd just mount it to something solid such as the sticks or head mount allowing me to keep my view stationary.

That's why the Red Arm will add the perfect touch to the setup.

Also, having the battery/magazine mount on the back end seems like it will get in the way, so this:

seems like the better way to go, hence the Red Arm being used for most VF mounting.

Couple of things, how long is the Red Arm when fully extended? And how long is the cable connecting the EVF to the camera?

The red price list does not say it just mentions its an interface cable?

Further down it says:EVF / LCD Extension Cable 3ft $200
EVF / LCD Extension Cable 10ft $300
