Any chance there could be a Scratch Learning Edition released? I just want to learn the software on my own time, that is when I have time.

I wouldn't mind a watermarked version to just play with.

Ack. I've gotten about 5 PMs in the past few minutes from people wanting demo licenses. I've got no problem with that. BUT... please...

1) Don't PM me. Email me at lucas at assimilateinc dot com from your realworld email address. There is no way for me to know who you are through PMs and an alias. : )

2) In order to run SCRATCH successfully, you *must* have a system that meet the following requirements:

* Windows XP SP2
* An NVidia QuadroFX core of some kind. Old AGP cards will not work.
* At least 2G RAM

If you don't have these minimum requirements, I can't help ya' out. : )

Best,

Lucas

For the benefit of those who will be interested in the demo, can you provide any details on the terms/time limitations/output limitations of the demo?

I've been in contact with your local reseller, and will be getting a demo when I actually have some time to spare, but at the moment wouldn't be able to devote any time to using it in the next month or two (instead I have to come to terms with Color to grade a drama series).

I'll add it to the huge list of skills I intend to learn :)

Just a thought I had the other day - does it work in Bootcamp on recent Mac Pros? We have ATI 1900XT, but could be convinced to get a QuadroFX 5500 or something for it, but I think there are driver issues in Bootcamp?

The new Quadro FX 3700 is affordable and rated very good for it's price range.

Hey!

Is there any chance a Scratch demo will run on a MacPro using BootCamp or Parallels?
