Do we have these yet? Sorry if I'm asking for something recently posted, living in the middle of the Pacific with slooooooow dial up connections translates into it taking a matter of minutes to load threads.........

Cheers,
Mark

The onboard LCD [the one in the back] is for menus as far as we know. I figure there might be a waveform monitor or something that can be pulled up, but I doubt the image will be visible on that screen. No details on that screen or the user interface at this time.

The LCD included with a reservation can be mounted wherever you please. It is a 720p LCD but that's all we know.

720p. Don't know if they've confirmed LCD yet.
Oh, and not precisely on onboard.

- EDIT - Brook wins

720p has been confirmed by RED as their intended spec for the LCD and EVF. Initially last year RED did not confirm the exact technology of the re-mountable screen, whether it would be LCD, LCoS, SED, or some other technology. The last few months the RED team members have been consistently using the term "LCD" when referring to the re-mountable screen, so perhaps LCD is the technology they will be using. That would be a safe assumption, but to my knowledge no RED Team member has categorically stated 'Yes, it is LCD technology", and as usual, nothing is locked down until it is stated as such.

I would guess that the data screen on the back of RED One will be LCD technology.
