Hey Everyone,

My background is in directing concert shoots, and I am anxious to start using REDs for this.

Mine arrives in May and I'll be looking for other owner-operators who want to get involved.

I work mostly in music and comedy and have worked with some pretty good acts (Powderfinger, Silverchair, Carl Barron, Akmal, The Umbilical Brothers etc.)

I'm looking to form a nationwide network so I can basically meet up with other owner-operators in whatever town I'm shooting in.

I can't wait to put this camera through it's paces and get some stunning results.

If you're interested, PM me and let's talk!

Cheers, :w00t:

Hi Jim. Sounds like a good idea- once I get my head around the camera. Mine arrives in June/July. I'll be offline for the next few days.

Getting some great responses, I think it's going to be a strong community here.

Being so far from base (RED) it's reassuring to know there will be a lot of experience and gear nearby!

Jim,
If you (or any one else) need any parts or stuck on anything don't feel shy giving me a call. Local red community should be about helping each other in a bind.

I'm in.

We paid almost 2 weeks ago for #903 so should be hopefully only days away...damn Easter!
