OK, I'm going to spill the beans...

The "4K delivery system" is a partnership with FedEx. They will have special foam-lined boxes for quickly packing and delivering your RED Drive full of 4K footage anywhere in the world at a nice fixed rate. The box also has an optional self-adhesive insert that allows you to place up to 24 CF cards snugly inside.

Of course, this is also a 2K and 3K delivery system, but it's not as impressive to market it that way.

besides, when you purchase second-hand, you forfeit the 1-year guarantee, you have to have the cam re-certified by RED to purchase the 90 day guarantee, yadda yadda yadda. the secondary market is not a good choice, when we are soooo close, my precioussssss....
