Hey.
When can we expect a shadows slider control in the interface?
And what about an enlarged curve editor?
And a zoom function?
(Guess it could come after 4k 16:9, audio and full Qmaster deployment?:bleh:)
Sorry :sorcerer:

What do you mean by a "shadows" control. What would you want it to do?

Same function as in RedCine or any other RAW converter (Called "Blacks" in Lightroom/CameraRAW.)

And didn't really mean to stress "when"...just wanted to know if this was something you would be working on eventually:-)
TGhe function does clip shadow values in other apps, but it would be a nice way to get a specific look done for dailies etc. when you dont want to mess with the curves. Alternatively a slider for the input value of the first point of the curve view would tend to cover the same functionality

The "black" point in the curve does just that though....

What I'm more curious about is when the highlights slider will do something, and is that highlights slider the same as a point in the curves?

It works today. It fixes the colour of clipped highlights. You've got to back off the exposure so that you can see all the image without clipping, and if the clip occured in one channel first, it can send the highlight pink or some other not correct colour. Adjust the Highlight control until it's colour is "right".
