Prime Set? EVF? Drives?

Is the prime set shipping yet? Is there an estimated ship date?

I know the drives and and EVF are shipping, but have they caught up to the orders and shipping with the new cameras now, or is there still a delay?

Drives are now freely available, #27 just got his EVF. I'm #199 and have been told to expect it by months end possibly 1st week of April.

There aren't even product shots of the primes yet. Don't hold your breath.

Jesus, they've pushed you back to the beginning of the month now? I was told the beginning of the month.. I'm #327 so that means I could be pushed back to end of NEXT month.

I know someone in the low two's who was told middle March but they have heard no update nor do they have it yet. I wish Red would project some kind of delivery schedule.

Just like with cameras, you can't say "#(x) just received (y)" and think that was the last delivered (y). We only ship when the product is paid for. Some people don't pay right away so there will be a delay in their delivery until they do so.

As promised, production has ramped up of EVFs. We are shipping healthy numbers now. Like I have said before, we will be shipping hundreds of EVFs per month moving forward.

In fact, we will be emailing another group of people tomorrow letting them know "It's reaaaaaaadddddy".... :)

Are you doing EVF's by Camera number if the EVF is paid for? I remember back in the day accessories in short supply were supposed to be done that way. Just wasn't sure if it's still the case.

I just hadn't seen any mention of these in my perusing of the boards (I'm sure I just didn't catch the right threads). Just wanted to see if I'd missed something. :)

In order of camera serial number, for sure, on EVFs. In fact, I personally allocate each EVF and Kelly personally contacts each customer letting them know it is ready.

I guess I should put the order in with #349 at once, I was thinking I wasn't getting the EVF for #349 for an other couple of months.

I sure love the EVF and getting it the sooner the better, that thing absolutely rocks, color, definition, clarity, fill and what else ... sexy looks!

For me I don't see myself using the Camera with out it, and I'm sure they will be as many sold as they will be cameras.

As mentioned above, we fulfill in order of reservation number. If your number is up for fulfillment and you have an EVF on order, we allocate to you and notify you it is ready via email.
