Follow Focus & Whips From Red? [Archive]

I thought I remembered ordering a follow focus and set of whips in varying lengths through Red, but looking at my order, I don't see them. I can't find them in the store either. I thought maybe they were part of the premium production package I had ordered, but I was looking through the thread where Jim announced the cabcellation of the PPP and in seeing the contents listed, there was no mention of the follow focus. I'm also finding no mention of them when I do a search.

Am I dreaming this? Was the follow focus a real accessory offered by Red, or am I losing my mind?

You're losing your mind. Though I wish red would develop a ff.

You may have been thinking of what Brook said here about the Canon EOS EF Mount.

Its mentioned in the second post, under Lens Mounts. There is also a picture of the follow focus as well. Its not a RED follow focus, its by Birger though.

You probably ordered from Redrock Micro. They sell a set of three whips of varying lengths and a FF

I know for sure I didn't place an order there, but that may very well be the FF I'm thinking of! I probably looked at it and planned on getting it, but associated it with my order from Red, lol. Thanks!

lol, Well at least know for sure now that I'm a loon...

As aready stated by others, I think I was thinking of the RedRock FF.
