For those who are interested in color correction, I just did an impromptu 12 minute video podcast on using secondary color correction in Apple's Color.

If you are using Color to grade your RED footage, this may be of interest. Please note that it requires a username and password which are below. And if you don't have a real ftp application, the only browser that seems to be able to download the file is Firefox. This discussion started with a post I made on the Field test forum discussions area.

The file can be downloaded from
ftp://01f8c14.netsolhost.com:21//Color%20Secondaries%20podcast.m4v

and requires a case-sensitive user name of user name: client%01f8c14 and password: Veral1th

The podcast does contain a pitch at the end for my new book. Hopefully I will have provided enough value to the forum that this will be forgiven.

I enjoyed the video. Very professional, thanks. And no, the plug was very much not offensive at the end.

Incidentally, I couldn't access it with FireFox, but Transmit worked fine for me.

Thanks again.

It's fine with me. I'm just looking for a DVD or book on color grading and I didn't know about your books. What is the difference between the two of them? I was looking for something more geared towards drama or feature films rather than Broadcast.
By the way I was looking at this DVD: http://www.rippletraining.com/color_grading_in_color_dvd_edition.html
Has anybody bought this DVD or the above books and can give any feedback or know of any other great color grading books and DVDs?

Nice video by the way! Thanks.
