The VL-4S is a four-channel, simultaneous Li-Ion (Lithium-Ion) fast charger. Up to four Li-Ion Endura V-mount batteries can be charged in 2.5 hours or less.
Portability
The VL-4S offers a lightweight design (6.83 lbs) with a convenient built-in handle.
V-Mount
The highly reliable V-Mount battery mount is becoming more and more prevalent on many broadcast and professional camcorders. In response, IDX has adapted the design of their batteries and chargers to with the V-Mount design.
Condition Indicator
An LED condition indicator offers a quick glance of each battery's charge status.
Intelligent Charging
As Li-Ion is memory free, batteries can be charged from any state regardless of the batteries' charge status. Each IDX Li-Ion battery has its own built-in microprocessor which enables direct communication with the charger's program to individually select for each battery the correct charge program specific for that battery.
Worldwide AC Power
As with all IDX chargers, the VL-4S's power switch is recessed to prevent an accidental loss of power. A worldwide, auto-sensing AC power (AC 100-240V) operation is standard.

The IDX Endura E-10S is a Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery pack. Precision mechanics give the Endura 10S a sleek design with a quick seamless V-Mount connection. This is the economical version of the E-10 with the same 93 Wh power rating.
Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion)
IDX has embraced Lithium-Ion for its obvious advantages. Li-Ion batteries can deliver 40% more capacitythan comparably sized NiCd batteries and are one of the lightest rechargeable batteries available today.
Power Status
Five LED lamps located on the operators side of camera offer a quick-look reference of remaining battery capacity.
14.8 Volts
The 14.8V design of the E-10S battery complies with equipment manufacturers specifications, eliminating all 12V battery problems
The E-10S is designed in a 14.8V configuration with a full discharge rating of 12V. Therefore, the Endura will always deliver 100% capacity before the camera ever reaches its cutoff point.
V-Mount
V-Mounts are becoming more and more prevalent on many new broadcast and professional camcorders.
