I recently worked on a motion gig that for the first time, decided to leave the 1d at home and make a conscience effort to pull stills from my 5k motion material. I hadn't ever actively decided to do this, and would normally be lugging both the Epic and 1d around. Providing the stills from the 1d, and the motion material from the Epic.

This was another fashion runway show, and I was getting bored of shooting the action from the end of the runway, and decided to try something different. I'm quite happy with the results, and wanted to share!

Yesterday I had the chance to try out some of the DS(M)C-capatilities of the EPIC for the first time.
I'm just a DIT, not shooting stuff myself usually - but for this I was asked to just do some photography/shooting for documenting a meeting of some nice young people I know. All without any target or goal and only like 30 minutes to 1h time-frame... I just had the EPIC with me - in a very stripped down simple setup. So this is no payed job or anything, it is not lit or post-processed on a higher level (just a contrast-curve), basically it was just me playing around a bit and I think it turned out pretty well :)
